IMHO 6k is way too much for a boxster w/blown engine.

But if this is a contest, beat a running "S" for $5800:

I agree if it is a 2.5L Boxster, but I believe a non-running "S" in average/nice condition is a good buy for $6000. Perfect for that 911 engine/displacement upgrade

On a semi-related note....the fact that we could find these so easily is the reason why I didn't trade my POS 964 in for another Boxster. Not until I can afford a motor rebuild. Even if it's good...I'll probably rebuild it.

I'm looking for a roller, if anybody has one they want to part with. I need the gearbox, and dash, but if it's otherwise stripped, that might be ok.

Actually, perhaps me too. I have a creative non-automotive use for a shell.
