Is there a similar "fix" for a 2005 Boxster?

When I was writing the book, I tried to find information on whether there was a 2005+ option for the console delete, and I couldn't find any info definitively. However, I will copy this question to our forums and perhaps someone there will have some input or suggestions.

Are you looking for legroom or just want to minimize what you've got inside your car? (i.e weight savings?) I seem to recall the Cayman R has an "empty" console that will probably be able to be retrofit into any 987? Not sure if that's what you're looking for?

There is no console delete option from Porsche. Obviously, you could take out whatever you wanted and/or do custom work, but unfortunately, there is no out-of-the-box solution.
