Of course there are separate listing for each of the DME revisions and each code has a list of causes and each cause has a diagnostic approach needing specialized tools or expertise sometimes.
So while this is a good example of the sorts of codes that are out there, don't depend on it too much as it may not apply to your car or just be the tip of the iceberg. |

My generic code scanner gave me the 0740 code, which relates to the torque converter clutch as I understand so I know that at least some codes can be read without special equipment. It's not a big deal if they're hard or too numerous to post since I can always simply ask what a code means if I ever get an obscure one.
