Fog lamp upgrade help
 

SmileWavy Hello All,
After seeing the damage that the headlight prisms suffered in a previous post, if incorrect lamps are used I thought I might see if some of you might know which bulbs would add a brighter output than the original fog lamp bulbs.
What I'm want to achieve is a whiter light to match the Litronic headlights if possible.

U can use a HID kit, will be bright and white, also very cool and wont damage anything.

Do you know what size it will take?

Does this apply for the fog lamps also, I haven't removed the lamp assembly's yet so I don't know what the fog lamp bulbs looks like, so I am assuming the catalog is correct.
Are they the same bulb as the stock halogen high beam H/L? The parts catalog, as I read it, says that the high beam and fog lamp bulbs are either H1 or H3, the HID kits show the H7, H8, and-H9 bulbs, so I'm a little confused here.

According to the Porsche PET system here, both the Fog lamps and the main beams use the same 55 watt H7 bulbs. So, yes, the exact same installation documented above for the main beams will work well for the fog lamps.
