Radio won't come out - wrong keys (pic)

Boxster S 2002, Becker CDR 22

bought these to pull it out but they simply pull straight out again, doesn't matter which way I put them in.. Have I got the wrong ones ?? I have removed the heater module and the Radio will pull out about a half inch but it'll do that with no keys inserted.. aaarghh

If you drop into just about any place that does car stereo installations, I'm sure if you talked nice they'd pop the radio out for free.

The 2nd pic is correct. You don't need the keys to remove the radio, but they do help. If you have something that approximate width, you can stick it in there to release the catches, and then sometimes you can wiggle the radio out. Doesn't always work, but I've managed to get it done when I couldn't find the my key set.
