My driver's side handle is loose. It "drops" away from the door and causes the window to lower the 1/4" in preparation for opening the door. If I push the handle back up into place, the window goes up into the frame. Is there a spring adjustment to tighten the handle?

I'm not aware of any adjustment in there. I think there's probably something broken where it attaches. It's pretty easy to remove the door panel and take a look, I would try that. I think you'll probably find the handle support broken.

I have the same problem. As a temporary fix, I used Velcro to hold the handle back in place so that the window goes all the way up after closing the door.
There is a very little U shaped metal piece that broke off the inside of my handle and that is when the problem started. I could not figure out where the U shaped metal piece came from exactly or how to fix it.
