2006 engine into 2002 car

Hi, top end has gone mega noisy on my 2002 3.2 s - cams sound really noisy and the longer the car iddles the worse it gets, thought it was exhaust heat shields at first but i'm almost certain its the top end? I have been offered a 3.4 out of a late 2006 boxster s - will it fit or will it be a major headache?
Thanks

Your 3.2 probably has clogged lifters & worn chain rail pads if you are hearing clicking noise. that can be fixed with the engine in the car for about $2,500.

The 3.4 will fit fine but will need some electronic modifications to run properly & thus cost more than $2,500 to install.
