What tool to remove the Tip fill plug?

I want to check the fluid level on the Tiptronic in my 2000 S. Nothing I own seems to fit the plug. I thought it might be one of those double ended wrenches in the tool kit but I couldn't get those to fit either.

The Pelican article shows a 17 mm hex wrench to remove the drain plug but I didn't see what it takes for the fill/check plug.

I saw a DIY for the 996 and it showed the drain plug being 8mm Allen and the fill being 17mm Allen.

PM me for the source of the DIY.

Regards,
paul...
