Question What is this part ??? Need help and part number !

I had cell 1128 and 1130 coming back for the last month and I was told to check for air leak. When I touched this line, I heard A crack and line come off. Ring inside (upper part) was bright white, the bottom part was yellow as inside the tube so think it was partially broken before I touched it.

Since it goes to the intake manifold could it be my air leak ???
What is this part and what do I need to order to fix it ???

My car is a 2002 Boxster S

Thanks

That's the vacuum line going to your brake booster. You no longer have power brakes and you have a huge vacuum leak. The white piece is a quick connect fitting. You can take it apart by removing a kind of plastic "C" clip at the right side of the white piece and then pressing the fitting together so it sort of collapses lengthwise. I bought one of those pipes recently. It's about 3 feet long and goes under the car in the vicinity of the driver's seat. I don't know if the quick connect fitting is available separately but the whole pipe was about $50 used from DC Auto.

I don't know if you can glue it together again. It might be worth a shot as a temporary repair but it doesn't look like there's much overlap for the glue to work with.
