2001 Boxster S , brokedn cruise selector stalk. Can just the stalk be replaced? The unit turns on with the dangling push-button.

Yes, you can probably replace just the stalk, but that part isn't sold separately. So, you'd probably have to buy a used or new part anyways and then take it apart to get the stalk. I would probably just recommend getting a whole new assembly - might be cheaper and easier in the long run.
