Red face Cannot see two of my posts - Is this over moderating?

I started a new thread to show my Blackberry Playbook in Boxster and I received a message as once the moderator approves it will show and I dont see it.

I replied to Double DIN thread and I dont see it. Whatz the deal here?

I thought we can talk about non foul things related to Boxster and my stuff doesnot showup

Generally in a forum like this there is some word, partial word or phrase in a message that triggers a filter and dumps the message in a "to be reviewed by a human" bin together with dozens or hundreds of foul messages, ads, etc. Your originals probably got caught that way. And moderators aren't just sitting there waiting for the next rejected/filtered message. They have lives outside the forum.

What if I was New you Senior, how does it matter. I posted a thread to share so someone can take advantage and replied to a post with out any foul language or bad stuff. I would expect to see my posts and all I received a message was moderator will approve and post a message and never showed up in the list

Or a link will trigger it sometimes as well. It's not that big of a deal. I found your post's with no problem. Sometimes that happens. Have fun and enjoy the site.

Don't know for certain(even though I am a mod here), but from what little I can see behind the scenes, I strongly believe this board is using an automatic system to catch the spammers.

And fortunately for all of us it works very well.

Welcome to the forum!

New members with less than 10 posts cannot post links. This is an unfortunate restriction, but it's required to stop spammers. Actually, it works really, really well, as we have very little spam on the forums.

Very nice... But I would be nervous that if I was driving in front you may accidently hit the gas while you were surfing Pelican Forums on the internet... ;-)
