Power Seat Memory Module Removal
 

Hi

I had a minor accident the other day where some sticky juice spilled down the driver door. I cleaned it up quickly, but seems that some got in between/behind the settings buttons (the module has a long 'M' button and 3 memory settings marked '1', '2' and '3').
Buttons 2 and 3 seem to be very sticky and when depressed take forever to pop back out to their normal positions. Everything is working fine, but I need to find a way to either clean out the module or remove it and clean it.
Would alternating spraying it with fine mist distilled water then immediately blasting dry with compressed air be a good option?
I can't find any guides on actually removing the module or gaining access behind the buttons.

Would appreciate any help.

Alectric parts and water don't go very well together.

Thanks. I ended up resolving it with plain old compressed air and a tiny mist of water, quickly blasted off and dried thoroughly.
Everything working like new.

Thanks for this product, looks useful, however not sure how I would have managed to get it into very tight spaces between buttons? Is this liquid light enough to be put in a water spray bottle? If not, would only be useful for cleaning parts that have been removed from the car and electronics are exposed.

They are both the same, only this one comes in fancy can.
The link I posted is also a spray, but it comes with the old school tube you will have to attach to the nozzle.
It's good to have around. Can clean almost any electronic product ( like my laptop that got attached by my cup of coffee).
