Window issues

The latch for the top no longer closes the switch to allow the windows to go all the way up. Is there any adjustment for the latch?
Also when I do get the windows up and open the door the window doesn't drop enough to open and close the door smoothly. Do you think this

As far as I know, the latch isn't adjustable. Perhaps, the sensor that the latch moves when it is closed has broken. One way to test this is to open the top and use your finger to push the sensor up or in. When done, the windows should move up. If they don't then the sensor itself needs replacing.

If only one of the windows doesn't drop when you open the door, the most likely the door's window regulator has broken.

I can get the windows to go up by physically pushing the switch with my finger.

I think Thom is right. The switch inside the roof locking mechanism may be bad. If the windows operate as normal from the switches it points to this. There are a few threads on replacing this.

For the window not to roll down enough when opening the door means the regulator has stretched. rplace or adjust.
