I have a 1997 boxster with a 1999 911 engine Kelly Moss conversion car.
I have the following two codes: PO453-tank pressure sender PO 447-shut off valve activated The car does not have a pressure sensor on tank or a purge valve on canister. I understand in 1997 the cars did not come with these. Is there anyway to get these codes cleared? __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: Pelican Technical Article: Boxster Engine Conversion Project - 986 Boxster (1997-04) - 987 Boxster (2005-08) |

I believe the only way would be to have the software in the DME modified. Porsche may be able to handle this, as I know BMW does it for their vehicles.
