99 Boxster w/ 50k miles on it. Never had any problems until a recent "Check Engine" light came on... Read through this post and I'm now convinced my engine is about to explode lol although the car still drives fine... Any thoughts or opinions on what it might be?

Go to an auto parts store. Some of them will pull codes for free and give you the code number. Then come back here and Give our parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. They can help you find the right part.
