I replaced the push rods for the top on my 1997 Boxster and everything is aligned properly but when I close the top and it reaches the very end where the cover is about to close it changes directions and starts to open. How do I syncronize the top so this doesn't happen and the light on my dash goes out

You sync the transmissions buy taking the cables off and spinning the cables till they are even. But it sound like your pushrods may be too short. Do you have the Boxster 101 projects book?

The pushrods are probably too long. Adjust them shorter and see if that helps.
