I hope you can provide some guidance? I have available to purchase an early 05 Boxster base 5 speed manual with 14,700 miles and clean title. The owner purchased it in May 05 and did the full dealer 20,000 mile service at 6400 miles in 2008 and did an oil change in Feb 2012 at approx. 12,650. So the original owner did two oil changes in 8 years and did a total of 14,700 miles. Should I walk away or does the low mileage mitigate the lack of oil changes? If purchased, price is $21500 should I do the IMS upgrade immediately? Your input is greatly appreciated.
