Can anyone tell me what they changed on the 2007 Boxster top? I am getting a dash message saying the "Convertible Top Ctrl Failed" and I get nothing when I push the roof switch to lower the top. The clamshell doesn't move nor does the roof. Is the message related to a switch on the clamshell? I've also got a fabric piece that sits below the back window. It is firmly attached on the passenger side but not on the driver's side. Is this why my driver's side flooded and required a new rear control unit? I believe this is another change for 2007 that instead of the anti-theft unit I have the rear control unit under the driver's seat. Any help would be appreciated!

The soft top control unit has picked up a fault and you will need a scan tool to retrieve the fault code. You leak could be the loose fabric.
