Engine rebuild sealants

There are some great old threads in the 911 section on engine sealants. There have been new products since then but is great to read the discussions.
My question is: is there a final word on sealants for the M96 engine ??Skip to the bottom of this post if you don't want the history lesson!
One 911 expert(Henry) offered these engine sealing suggestions : "This is how we build all of our engines.

Outer case halves perimeter : Threebond 1104

Bearing web surfaces: Loctite 574

#8 Bearing O-Ring: Threebond 1211

Case Thru Bolts: Dow Corning 55 on Green Viton O-Rings

Flywheel Seal: dry

Front pulley Seal: dry

Intermediate Shaft Cover to Case: o-ring Dow 55, gasket style 574

Oil Breather Cover to Case: Loctite 574

Cylinders to Case: Curil T

Cam Towers to Cylinder Heads: Threebond 1104

Cam Chain Housings to Case: gaskets Loctite 574

Cam Chain Housings to Cam Towers: gasket Loctite 574

Cam Chain Housing Cover to Cam Chain Housing: Gasket Loctite574

Gaskets: Thin coat of Loctite 574

The Loctite Hysol is a perfect epoxy for sealing galley plugs and tensioner pins.
On late 3.0 & 3.2 cases it also seals the exposed oil transfer tube in front of the cooler.

If you can't find 1104 use 1194 and Dow 55 can be replaced with 111"
The Loctite 574 is used to structurally glue the case halves together ! I'm not kidding -if you read the old threads they actually relied on the extra contribution of the 574.So you can imagine how hard it is to remove! It is anaerobic but has a limited open time according to some. It also prevents the bearings from 'walking'.Is any of this relevant to the M96?
So does the Boxster engine benefit from this structural strength also? If it is significant, then whining about clean-up is redundant. There is comment about excess lumps falling off internally and plugging oilways!

Fast forward to 2014:
Curil-T still seems to be eclipsed by Loctite 5900 and perhaps 3bond 1184 instead ?
Can you point me in the right direction to search?

Here is a helpful photo showing where to apply which sealants to a 911 from a helpful old post here.
Anyone have the equivalent for the current Boxster?
In theory the 1211 might be equivalent to a top quality silicone RTV but...
The 1104 was superceeded by 1194 and then 1184.
The spot where Curil-T is indicated has since been changed to "Dry".
