CEL codes P0410, P1133 for 2000 Boxster

Last Thursday CEL came on when driving to work on 2000 Boxster 2.7L. Checking codes with Durametric gives me the following: P0410 Porsche fault code 80 - Secondary air injection system Cylinder (1-3) & P1133 Porsche fault code 358 - Multiplic. mixture adapt. lower load range B.2:

Secondary air injection pump switches on manually when turned on through Durametric and I can hear the electric change-over valve also moving when manipulating this through Durametric.

Before I tackle this tomorrow just wanted to know if anyone had been down this road before and had any advice. Thanks in advance!

-Ken

UPDATE:

Opened engine compartment today and took apart most of the air intake. Cleaned the MAF, ducting from MAF to throttle body, throttle body itself, intake plenum, and intake plenum boots. Throttle body was filthy! After some carb cleaner she looked brand new. Buttoned everything back up and started the Boxster to go for a test drive. Engine was smoother, a little quieter, and seemed more responsive. The cleaning also fixed my pesky idle hunting problem!

For the past 2 years the car would hunt at idle when coming to a stop at a light when warmed up. It would drop down and almost die and catch itself. It would do this more with the A/C off. The idle would go between about 600 to 900 or so every 2 or 3 seconds. No more. After the intake cleaning and new air filter my idle is now steady like it should be!

I also sprayed some contact cleaner in both seat buckles and cleared the air bag light that has been on for a year. Now all dash lights are out. Keeping my fingers crossed that I may have fixed the issue and won't be seeing the CEL again any time soon (or the airbag light).

Driving the Boxster this morning two new CEL codes came in. I now have:

P1128 Porsche fault code 360 - Oxygen sensing adaptation idle range bank 1
P1130 Porsche fault code 361 - Oxygen sensing adaptation idle range bank 2

In doing more research, sounds like I need a new MAF and cleaning isn't going to cut it this time. Besides, I should probably go ahead and get one since the MAF in there now is most likely 15+ years old.

What do you guys think? Sound like I'm heading in the right direction? Anything else I should try?

For now, I've reset the codes and will be using normally as my daily driver until the MAF arrives from Pelican. Any advice is appreciated.

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere, I've seen the vacuum resevoirs fail, or any of the connecting vacuum lines.lines.....
Only way to really know is to smoke test it.... The slightest vacuum leak can throw adaption codes, and a leak in the secondary air vacuum system can cause those codes. ....

Thanks bell! That was one of the possibilities I had on the list of things to check but since I don't have any way to smoke test it myself I thought I would try a good cleaning first. I will make an appointment at a local shop to see if they can smoke test it for me.
