Hi
I have a 2008 Boxster with 75,000 miles I drove the vehicle at 40 mph Suddenly I felt a slight hit from behind and started out thick white smoke exhaust I went to the garage and before he even checked the box he said he had to replace an engine. The man didn't say why, just that he felt he had to? Ask the mechanic why he said that, what test led to that conclusion?
