I have a 2011 Cayman with 205/55/17 front and 235/50/17 rear. I am taking the car to the track and have access to a set of 19" wheels with Kuhmo Ecsta SPT in 225/35/19 and 265/30/19 sizes. These will lower the car 1/2" and reduce gearing by 4%. Are there any potential problems with this arrangement?

Study the offsets and how they interact with the brakes etc.
