I have a Carrera 996.1 3.4L and my transmission that I have just installed is working properly, but the gear indicator on the dashboard is flickering between P and 4 what is that signal and how can I fix it

The range switch may not be connected correctly. Check if the connector is seated properly.
Also check the DME for fault codes. If the system is not working properly, a fault code will be set. This will be your best bet when diagnosing. - Nick |
