I recently installed a Kenwood KDC-BT958HD in my 2002 C4S and everything is working well except I cannot get sound from the rear speakers. How do I diagnose this problem? I have also removed the RCA plugs and rewired them into the brown adapter and still get no sound. I used the Metra 70-1787 harness.

First step...make sure you have rear speakers. Some cars did not have speakers in the rear. Remove the rear speaker covers and make absolutely sure.

I'm assuming that you have an amp and rear speakers and that the wiring was done properly. In that case, is it possible that the head unit is defective? Is the fader control set properly?
