I have just ordered a new Ignition Switch to my 2008 Boxster with 115K miles. My key stay stuck inside after turning of the car and shifting to Park.

Move the selector to d then back to park quickly. The problem could be in the selector unit / cable (if equippee), not returning to P position, keeping the ignition locked out.
