Question: I'm going to try and build a switch that emulates the Porsche airbag deactivation bar as I will occasionally need to pick up my grandson from day care in my 986 and that part is out of production.
In another thread IN http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Porsche-996-997-Carrera/96-ELEC-Child_Seat_Air_Bag_Deactivation/96-ELEC-Child_Seat_Air_Bag_Deactivation.htm Pelican was nice enough to publish a wiring diagram of how the device works. I plan to build it with a switch instead of the buckle. Does Pelican sell the plug that fits into the socket for the child seat connection under the seat, or can you provide a part#? __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: Porsche Boxster Child Seat Installation - 986 / 987 (1997-08) - Pelican Parts Technical Article |

I would check with Pelican Parts via phone. I don't know much about this one.
