I am having a similar issue on my 99 Boxster with my driver side window. When I pull the latch or handle the window drops but goes right back up causing the window to catch on the molding then having to pop it in by hand after I close the door. The passenger door window drops until the door closes then pops back up the way it should. What does this sound like the issue could be? Thanks! Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is likely the switch in the door latch. Try cleaning and lubricating the door latch.
