Check Engine Light went on, checked codes, and MAF was shown faulty. Was going to order parts, but noticed when I opened engine a rodent had chewed through 2 wires. One under the air filter and another wire that is part of the harness. Pix attached I can splice the harness wire back together, but I do not know what the wire connection in Pix 2 goes to. Before I order MAF, I want to reconnect wiring properly. Thanks for any insight on what PIX 2 connects to and how to repair. Thanks!

Yes. I would repair the wiring. Use a sealing butt connector and wire of the same gauge for repairs.
