Passenger side radiator fan won't turn off

Got home from a short trip (3) miles. Radiator fan was working when I parked in my garage. Turned off the key and it was still running. About 1/2 hour later I returned to the garage and it was still running. Engine temp was normal during the drive.
I had to disconnect the battery to keep it from discharging.

Any help will be appreciated as to why it won't turn off.

I'm thinking it's a bad relay. The Porsche/VW/Audi part number is 141951253B Later this morning, I'll head over to my local electronics supply house and buy 2, one for the high and one for the low fan settings. Hopefully that will solve the problem. They're only $7.99 ea so hopefully it may be a cheap fix. They are just a 4 prong relay available at most electronic shops
