    hi ljowdy, funny, I basically did the same thing you did. I finally decided to "cut" my losses and get my engine / car back and start over. I too found out about Pelican too late.

    Funny, I have kept a nice photo journal / receipt log concerning my 73 911 restoration. Everything this scumbag did or claimed to have done, I've completely started over. I've taken any receipts / photos out of this car's record and started a file called "scamfile".

    This scammer also told me "just drive it-early 911's don't make very good oil pressure".

    Well my completely re-re built 2.4 MFI engine makes tons of OP now.
