Hello I'm having a problem with my porsche boxster 2.7 2006 soft top not opening/closing. If you try to open the top the motor will spin however the engine compartment does not raise on its own and the top does not move. If you raise the engine cover top by hand and try pressing the button to either close or open the convertible top, the motor will spin which in turn spins both of the control cables, the control cables in turn spin both "Improved transmission assembly" however what I noticed is that the "control lever" on either side will not move? I can see the screw that holds the "control lever" to the "transmission assembly" move however shouldn't that cause the control lever to move also? While inspecting each part visually and by touch they seem to be in good condition. Also the top slides easy by hand to a close or open position... What could cause something like this? Do I need to possibly turn the screw harder on the control lever to the transmission or do I have a bad motor? Man I'm like about to cry lol

Your follow up:

It looks like that I resolved the problem by screwing in both screws a tiny little bit tighter.

Are you still having issue with the final timing of the top closing? Or was the other fastener the issue?
