Thanks for all the info, need a little help though. In my excitement to get back on the road, when I took the old water pump off I didn't keep track of which bolts go where. Could you illustrate for me which holes use the longer bolts? Thanks for your help.

I checked my notes and don't list the exact locations. However, I can tell you how I deal with this issue. The short bolts will go into the holes where you can see threads, longer where the thread bore is smooth at first. Also, install them all a few turns, they should all stick out just about the same before tightening.
