987s noise

Good morning, I'd like your assistance on the noise my 987S has started making. I heard it once about a year ago right after the annual service for a few minutes but then it stopped. It has started again the last couple weeks. When I start it in the morning and drive it everything is fine. When using it again after a couple hours this noise on the video goes on for a couple minute. Could it be the engine fan? Noticed that when I start it and the noise goes on there is air blowing from the right side . When noise stops its not blowing air any longer. And one more question even though it might sound stupid. How many fans do we have on the engine? A primary and a secondary or just one? Please watch link below for the noise on my car

That is a weird and terrible sound. There's no fans on the engine. It's difficult to say what it is. Is it blowing air out the right side intake/scoop?

My guess engine cooling fan is going bad on passenger side.

Yes while its blowing air out from the passenger side intake the noise goes on. After a couple minutes its stops. I heard 3 different opinions. 1. Alternator 2. AOS. 3. Engine cooling fan. But the most reasonable is the engine fan since at the same time its blowing air. On the Boxster diagram I see fan (L) and fan (R) Part#997-624-135-02. So there are 2?

My thoughts is the engine cooling fan too. Classic cold bearing/bushing noise similar to footwell fans on old 911's. Noise often goes away once the oil /grease in the bushing warms up.

To the best of my knowledge, there are three fans associated with engine cooling. One in the passenger side engine compt. and two in the front left & right radiator cooling fans.

That sounds like a failing engine bay exhaust fan.
