What is the approximately cost of having my convertible top repaired? After taking vehicle to Porsche, I was told that it was a 4,000 cost. It's there a convertible repair shop I save money on by taking it to an independent shop?

I am not sure what the repair will cost in your area. Call a few shops and ask for a quote. It is also a good idea to have them confirm what the issue is.

What is wrong with your top? Parts for the mechanisms are available separately. If it is just the cloth that is wore out they are around $600 for a nice quality replacement and a few hours labor to have it installed at an independent trim and upholstery shop.

How did you make out with the top replacement? In the Phoenix area they want $500 to R&R, at an independent.
