Hi, any one had a problem with new belts being to small/short, just trying to replace mine and it's about an inch to inch and a half to short, could leaver it on but don't want to as would hold tensioner full compressed, 986 2.5L 1998

Possible you have the wrong belt. Give The Pelican Parts parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. They can figure out if it is right or wrong.
