Where can I find how much vacuum pressure is needed for brakes to operate properly ? I would need that information for registration of my modifications as I have changed my 986 2.7L -2000 motor to full electric and my brake vacuum source is now an Hella UP30 vacuum pump. And for registration, I need to prove that it's providing enough vacuum. If you would have any books or workshop manuals that mention this, I would be interested in them. Thanks!

I have no books or info with specs for this.
Rule of thumb, it takes manifold vacuum 18-21" mercury) to operate a vacuum assist booster. with a check valve to prevent bleed off. - Nick |
