Appreciate the reply. Unfortunately the tip of the slave cylinder slipped off the fork and then got caught on the edge of the fork, pulling the tip and shaft out of the boot and falling into the clutch housing. Now I have to drop the transmission to recover it. Nothing "straight forward" about installing a slave - in my opinion.
