Dual Row IMS replacemnt

So I have a dual row IMS bearing engine. I'm interested in replacing the IMS bearing just for peace of mind for me (and any prospective buyers down the road).

I feel like the Pelican kit offers the best bang for the buck (1/3 of the LN solution), but the single row bearing with spacers to make it fill the dual row space feels like a mickey mouse solution and a step backwards in reliability and durability. Since the dual row bearing appears to be superior why not offer that bearing for the dual row cars? I haven't needed to research parts for a while, so I don't know where to get PET access these days, is an OEM dual row bearing NLA? If it's available, anyone know the PN and price?

Thanks!

Porsche does not offer an IMS bearing replacement.

LN does offer a dual row ceramic ball bearing kit. many k installed. Kit, tools (rent or buy and then sell) and well proven instructions.

Others have used other approaches, Search is your friend.

PET here.
