Dual Row IMS replacemnt
So I have a dual row IMS bearing engine. I'm interested in replacing the IMS bearing just for peace of mind for me (and any prospective buyers down the road).
I feel like the Pelican kit offers the best bang for the buck (1/3 of the LN solution), but the single row bearing with spacers to make it fill the dual row space feels like a mickey mouse solution and a step backwards in reliability and durability. Since the dual row bearing appears to be superior why not offer that bearing for the dual row cars? I haven't needed to research parts for a while, so I don't know where to get PET access these days, is an OEM dual row bearing NLA? If it's available, anyone know the PN and price? Thanks! |
