Cayman S - Fuel Filter ?

I just bought a 2006 Cayman S and I was shopping pelican for general tune up parts (belts, oil filter, etc..)

I find nowhere in the catalog a fuel filter - does the car have one?

Not in the normal sense; there is one, but it is built into the fuel pump and not serviceable separately.

I had the same issue with my BMW Motorcycle and I thought that was crazy until the dealer told me that is how it is. They must have figured out how to do it with less maintenance.

No, they just cheaped out on using a real filter.
