PCA AutoX in Calgary - #1 - 2007
Wow! What an evening...
The PCA organized the first AutoX of the year and it was a blast!, at the end of the session I was basically the only driver on the track so I managed to do some serious driving lap after lap... Big thanks to Miles for his advise, its just incredible when you have an instructor on your side (although I think I managed to scare him when I missed the Apex on turn 1) Also the dealership brought a Cayman that anybody could've driven or get an instructor to drive it and you as the passenger. I was afraid Miles' advice to me would have been "get a new car" LOL. I went for a lap with him in the Cayman, and it's pretty clear that driver skill sure can make up for a lack of power. He is a phenomenomal driver!

Good times had by all - Went for a ride along in the Cayman to get the lines correct and they made it look so darn easy!

I really enjoyed meeting up with you guys...my girlfriend and I had a great time. I think I even have her convinced that her next car should be a p-car!

Crap!
I had some house issues to take care of and I missed it  I would have loved to try the cayman as I have been lusting over them. Well at least I've got the car out and been tooling around town, man I love the spring! Thanks for the pics....

Great shots Gaspar! Whose car is that Targa, anywayz?
I spent some time at the track the past few nights in the ol' beater and let me tell you, if you have the line, it doesn't matter how powerful your car is, you're going to be fast. Last monday was the first time I ever got my car into 3rd (with the 964), tonight, it was all about 3rd and 4th - I never used 2nd (except for accelerating out onto the straight a few times).
