911 SC and 3,2L A/C and heater
Hi again Pelicans.
Is it normal for SC and 3,2L models to have poor A/C and heating systems. I'm shopping around for an '80s 911 and I'm starting to believe that this is very usual on these models. Only problem is that I live in Montreal and spring and autumn rides can be chilling, and summer are very hot and humid in here... So, I think twice... ... I thought I knew a lot about Porsches... ![]() Any inputs welcome. Nicolas

Heat is typically not a problem unless someone has installed headers.
A/C on the other hand......

I've had 6 911's from '78 to '86 model years. Neither the heating nor AC were that great.

My heater provides sufficient heat to defog the windows and keep me warm on coolish days.
My A/C blows air, that feels cool. Is it? I have no idea. It could simply be the evaporative affect of moving air.
