European Classic Car Show in Calgary
I almost missed the annual European Classic Car Meet and Show in Calgary this year. Thankfully, last eve, Peter called and asked if I was going.
Huuuh? Tomorrow? Yep, for sure! See you there... I had forgotten about it and had no idea when it was. Thanks for letting me know, Peter. Here's a few shots of the cars that resonated with me in some way. There was plenty of air cooled iron there (both P-car and VW and one of those three wheeled cars) and quite a lot of others that I didn't know about or just don't come to mind all that often. I think there were also more air cooled 911s on the street beside the park than there were in the show. I guess that goes to show that you shouldn't overlook taking a walk through the parking lot at any event to see what interesting stuff might be lurking out there. Without further rambling, the pics...

  Two words you don't see together all too often.  This is a 2.5 litre 140 HP V8 under the hood of...  This.  Close P-car cousin...     I'm sure we can all relate to this...
