Not to sound too mean a$$ed about this - we've been mowing our lawns out here for couple weeks now. Still getting a lot of rain though - we've got to figure out a way to flume this excess rainwater to the drought areas in California - of course there would have to be a "nominal" charge for this.
Hang in there Mark - both the Leafs & the Canucks suck - so that should mean 'spring' will be along very soon.

Cheers
JB

It was just a big freak'in ice storm, the thing is we had a warm winter with almost no snow.
It's been so warm that all the salt was washed away and I would be driving right now.
But because of the storm the roads are all hosed with salt and I need 3-4 good hard rains before I can drive my fun cars...at least a 2-4 week setback.

Oh well...at least it's 15C today and the ice is all gone.

Grrrrrrrr...it's not that cold here but they keep spraying the roads with brine.
It fuch-ing rained enough last night to wash a lot away and then they sprayed brine...I don't even think it ever got below 10C.

After raining all night, we hit 13C yesterday by lunch time the road were dry so I went out for a spin to get the oil warm in order to do change the oil.

No very promising fro the rest of the week...

8:30 am on a Saturday, having a coffee while listening to Chet Baker and it's +12 out. Headed to the garage once I have some breakfast in me.

We're having lots of nice days, but at even a hint of frost they are spraying the roads here.

Shop time is not the issue, I have a heated shop.

No, I'm not shoveling... for now (did the stairs and landing)

We got around 20cm overnight and its been raining on top of it since 05:00. so its down to about 10cm compacted.

Going up to 8C this afternoon so it should go down further.

Even the cat is piss off.

Well, maybe now we can hope it is over. Interesting to see that, in Toronto, April has the highest monthly snowfall of the winter months, and we are only 1/3 through it. Mother Nature IS a *****. Planning to go to Hershey this weekend, so weather had best be nice.
