Green color?
I once saw a 70's medium sized sedan BMW in the most gorgeous non-metallic green I have ever seen.
I don't know the exact year but it was probably mid 70's or thereabouts. The colour reminded me of Porsche Irish Green, perhaps a touch lighter. Do you have the color name? If not, where can i get BMW color charts of the 70's? Thanks in advance. |

The BMW model was probably a Bavaria.....and I believe the color was Amazon Green....or more correctly Amazonasgrun.

I believe the BMW color you are looking for is called Agave. It is a medium non-metallic green, used roughly from 1971-1974. I think Amazon followed it.

Hey, that's the color I painted my 911. I haven't ever seen another mid-year painted Irish Green (Porsche code 213). I just bought a '76 2002 with a very similar color, but a little lighter. I'm too much of a newbie bimmer owner to know where the paint code is. If I come across it, I'll post.
