ok, here's one for you.
for those that have race cars, i'd like to know WHAT your number means... was it arbitrary? does it have a significance? for those that WANT race cars... what number would you choose? and why? i'm in a toss up to do: 75 (my year of birth) 79 (jess' year of birth) 93 (year i graduated from high school) 97 (year i graduated from college) 01 (year i'm getting married) when it comes time to pick one, i think i'll end up going with 01. what about you? obin ------------------ A straight line is the most BORING distance between two points. |

If you're actually going to race, you generally apply for a specific number, so that there are no dublicates in your class events. Before you order the decals, I'd check this out.

I get a number I feel about...
The number of girlfriends I had, or how much money I have in the bank, the year of the car (like 84), but always to represent something I feel good about. You can get anything from 69 to 3 to whatever(provided that it's not already taken). At VIR I had 411 forexample, and I wrote 'how's my driving, call' right above the # with shoe polish... Choose whatever you want, it's personal! Make sure though, as Jack points it out, that it's not already in use. For two driver cars, two consecutive #s, or #s with the digits switched work well (for example 12, and 21). Ahmet ------------------ It's all the driver... |
