Hi John. I tried accepting your friend request on different computers and my phone but it doesn't look like it will take.
Is it accepting at your end?

I agree with Duc. The engine bay and footwell blower fans are on the same circuit. The AC fan if a different circuit. I took mine off and the general air circulation fans work. The fan in the front trunk behind the firewall is also unlinked to the AC fan, or the blowers/engine bay fan. Three separate systems that function independently from the rest, yet, work together. And Middle America, sorry for taking about a year to reply.

Sorry it took me so long to get to this one. I think you may have confused me with someone else. I replaced all of my A/C, not deleted it. I can say on my 89 3.2 the fan in the smugglers box is totally separate from the fan for fresh air, or heat. So I would think it can just come out (and you could put a light weight battery in there).

Greetings from Colorado! I've been reading your thread since the beginning, and it has been extremely useful to some of what I'm trying to accomplish on my '85, mainly the AC delete. I am stumped by one thing in particular, however, and that's the electrical in the smuggler's box. Can I remove everything from the passenger side, or does that also power the other blower for the dash and defrost? I'm also wondering what you did with the fan switches in your console, as well as the foot well power plug. I guess I can sort it by process of elimination, but any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
