Why not, right?? I came on here thinking 3D printing for impossible to find do-dads and never even thought there could be a need for these files for CNC!

I would definitely be interested in drawing a digital file of a part. Thanks for replying. As far as the printing goes I'm curious to see how well it stands up to the stresses given the variety of plastics that are now commercially available.

I do everything with my trusty micrometer. Have a part in mind that you can 'part' with for a bit of time? Even anything broken where I can still fit the pieces together or it's obvious what the missing section was.

As for printing, I do have to say the prices get pretty steep as the part's volume increases. I have no issue with helping front the cost, but I've gotten to over $100 to print something 10 x 4 x 3 centimeters. So if you're interested, we can start off small. I'm game to whatever you need.

I mis-spoke just now, the thermostatic switch I used was for controlling a cooling fan for the rear lid condenser. You were looking for a high side compressor cutoff pressure switch(?)....

Saw your post on the Canary Yellow thread.
I am restoring a 67 912 / 6 and am in need of any factory drawings with dimensions. (PP thread: "A sort of barn find"). The front suspension pan is completely rotten so I have no reference points to effect the repair. If you would, please can you send me high res versions of the pic your posted. I would be very grateful.

    Many thanks.
    Cheers, Matthew.

I'm currently searching for a deeper squirrel cage blower wheel that will fully fill the intake area rather than having to have the DIY reverse flow blocking adaption.

In the alternative a more powerful, ~250 CFM 12 volt blower, or even a A/C one as 300W PSW inverters are relatively inexpensive.
