    Mike,

And here is a link to a thread that includes a writeup I did on replacing the sensor.

Mike: I didn't forget to followup on your question -- I just could not FIND the messages. When I responded initially, I thought it was a Private Message -- and I could not find the exchange in my PM file. Got Wayne involved -- no luck. Then, last night, I googled myself and found a link to a "discussion with Rokemester" -- followed it and discovered the Visitor Message part of the personal profile. Had never known about that -- and Wayne did not think of it either.

This is a link to Digi-Key for the NTC thermistor I used. The part number is at the end of the link -- KC005G-ND.

    Digi-Key - KC005G-ND (Manufacturer - AL03006-1576-101-G1)

Good luck! And sorry for the delay in following up.

    Mike,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you -- I've been out of town dealing with a death in the family. I replaced the thermistor mounted at the driver's side heat valve -- that procedure was posted a while back. I got the thermistor from Digi-Key -- when I get home tonight I'll look up the part number and send it to you.

    Hi Brian,
Saw your post in a thread regarding auto heat system. My heating valve sensor has failed open and I would like to replace the sensor if possible. Can you please tell me where you sourced the replacement sensor? I don't think the part is even available from Porsche these days. Unbelievable and the price is a shocker as well! Thanks.
