You should look up "How to build and everyday Outlaw" by Larry Chen. Its shows Magnus Walker's 78 SC built for "small" money. Also R Gruppe's "Red" article in the April 15 issue in "Excellence" hows a great car 911 t based car but the 3.4 engine I mentioned.

Hope you found the pictures on Shutterfly. Bryan

I have a 79 SC roller in Mass. Sunroof Coupe, Gaurd's Red tan interior. Paint peeling but otherwise body is rust free. Engine is dis-assembled but non matching off an 1982 SC. 915 transaxle with rebuilt 1st and 2nd synchros
Needs: re-spray, interior dash front and rear, tan leather seats could use restoration for the patina look or re-skin them, fresh carpets, etc. I would estimate you would have a great DD for $20,000 resto costs. Projected value about $30K in today's market. Need to get $7500 for roller. Engine transaxle are "probably" available but not sure on price yet.

If interested please call me at 508-360-3535. My email is Want to move on this quick if possible. Have web site with pics posted if interested let me know.
